Performances

We love to perform so please feel free to contact us if you have an event that you would like us to perform at. While we set these fees for professional purposes we are always open to discussing your particular requirements for performance. We are especially interested in supporting events that are artistic and theatrical in nature.

The Official Stuff

These costs are based upon a MINIMUM of two dancers performing together. As ATS dancers we DO NOT perform solo.

*Please read Terms & Conditions below - A Booking Agreement form may be required to be completed prior to confirmation of your booking.

Charity or Community based Festivals  / Events

 FREE* upon request and pending our availability. Set time negotiable.

*A pre paid Travel fee may be required pending required travel time. 

Private parties / Business & Professional Event performances

 Minimum Payment of $240* for two dancers + $100 for each extra dancer.

This includes a standard 15-20minute set. Extra set time may be negotiated at an additional cost.

*SPECIAL PRICING FOR HEN'S PARTIES!!!*

Hen's nights (for the ladies only!) - This includes a set dance plus a lesson of 30-45 minutes for the 'Hen' and her guests.
 $300* for the duo & $100 for each additional dancer - this includes a standard 10-15 minute set PLUS a 30-45 minute lesson for the 'hen' and her guests. Extra set time and additonal fee may be negotiated.

Private Lessons

Private lessons in ATS & Neo-Tribal Fusion are available in ACT home studio. (Southside Canberra - maximum 2 dancers)

      1. One dancer at a rate of $45p/hr.  
      2. Two dancers at a rate of $60 p/hr. 
      3. 3+ dancers are negotiable - venue hire will be an additional cost.

Private lessons are also available both Nationally & Internationally. Please contact us for a quote.

Hire Terms & Conditions

  1. ALL Bookings for performances should be made with the Director or Administration Support Officer. All bookings should preferably be agreed to in writing with an agreement made with the event coordinator on minimum requirements for performance. *Booking Agreement Form to be developed.
  2. A ‘Performance Co-ordinator’ may be appointed to act as the co-ordinator for a particular performance/event and the person authorised may change from event to event.  
  3. Minimum Requirements exist including space and dance surface, provision of a high volume sound system that will play CD music and adequate lighting for viewing of the performance and safety of the dancers.
  4. Tribalista reserves the right to refuse to perform at any time if “we” (Director/ Performance Co-ordinator) deem the nature of the event to be unsuitable or if the minimum requirements for the dance performance to progress in safety are not satisfied.
  5. Where a payment is made to a troupe for an event, this includes a charge for  a Booking fee (Refer Schedule of Fees 1.1).
  6. In general, performances for non-profit/charitable events are non paid. A Travel allowance (Refer Schedule of Fees 1.5) or other fee may be required where travel out of Canberra metropolitan area OR more than 30 minutes is required.
  7. Any corporate event or private event (UNLESS otherwise agreed to by both the Director & performers) will attract payment of Booking Fee + Dancer fee (Refer Schedule of Fees 1.2) with a minimum of two dancers for a standard 10-15 minute set. This is the Minimum Payment Fee (Refer Schedule of Fees 1.3).
  8. Further sets will incur an Extra Set Fee (Refer Schedule of Fees 1.4) and should commence not more than 60 minutes after the completion of the previous set.
  9. Performances will commence at agreed time. Any delay in performance time MAY result in a charge of a Time Delay Fee (Refer Schedule of Fees 2.1) OR Non-performance with a Performance Cancellation Fee (Refer Schedule of Fees 2.2) UNLESS otherwise agreed to by Director/Performance Co-ordinator.
  10. The performers reserve the right to bring chaperone/s for security purposes,  to assist in prop provision and to take photos/digital film footage for our own purposes. These chaperones should be provided all due courtesy including, where applicable, free entry to cover charge events.
  11. Schedule of Fees @ 1/7/2006
1.1 Booking Fee  $40
1.2 Dancer Fee  $100
1.3 Minimum Performance Fee  Booking Fee + (2 x Dancer Fee) 
1.4 Extra Set Fee   $50 per dancer
1.5 Travel Allowance

 As per ATO guidelines on travel expenses OR

 $10 per 10 minutes over 30 minutes travel time

2.1 Time Delay Fee   $15 per 15 minute wait time per dancer
2.2 Performance Cancellation Fee  Booking Fee + (2 x Dancer Fee)
